Lluís de Peguera High School

This building, halfway between Modern Style and "Noucentisme" , started to be built in 1907 and was finished in 1927, designed by Alexandre Soler i March. This secondary school was designed to have two side parts (in which boys and girls had to be separately placed) and a central part that was for many years the City Council Civil Library.

The accurate ornamentation on the main façade stands out: it has neoclassical elements and motifs taken from nature which perfectly combine with the surrounding grove, in such a way that the scene seems to give off a pleasant feeling of naturalness.
